Practical information for LIFF Friends
Order tickets as Friend
As a LIFF Friend, you can get tickets to regular screenings and Limited Editions 48 hours before regular ticket sales start.
After ordering the LIFF Friend pass it will be directly linked to your account. Select a film and choose ticket type ‘LIFF Friend’ in the webshop. Please note: the pass is personal and allows you to purchase a maximum of 1 ticket per film screening in Trianon and Kijkhuis.
It is also possible to order tickets at the box office from the start of the festival. To do so, please have the QR code scanned from the PDF attached to your confirmation email. You receive this email once you have registered as a LIFF Friend. For opening hours of the box office, please check the visitor information.
Use your Friend Free Ticket
During the festival, you can bring someone along for free to one screening at the cinema. Select a film and choose ticket type ‘Free ticket Friend’ in the webshop.
It is also possible to order your free ticket at the box office from the start of the festival. To do so, please have the QR code scanned from the PDF attached to your LIFF Friend confirmation email.
If you purchased your free ticket for a friend and are unable to attend, please make sure to cancel your order in good time. This way someone else has the chance to attend the screening. Cancel your ordered ticket with your Friend Free Ticket on MijnLIFF.
To the cinema
After deciding which film(s) to see and purchasing your ticket(s), it’s time to visit LIFF! In order to enter the cinema, you need to have either the QR code of your movie ticket or the QR code from your LIFF Friend pass scanned, the second of which you can find in the attachment to your LIFF Friend confirmation email.
