Accreditation

With an accreditation, you can visit up to 25 regular films at LIFF. Bear in mind, you can only visit these films with a valid ticket, which can be ordered on our website or at the box office during the festival.

In order to buy tickets using your accreditation as soon as ticket sales begin, we have set September 20, 2026, as the first deadline. After this date, you can still apply for accreditation until October 1, 2026. Your application will then be approved at a later date.

Press accreditation

Journalists and other media professionals may be eligible for press accreditation for LIFF. This applies to journalists who write for newspapers, magazines, and online publications, as well as those who write for personal blogs, influencers, and podcasts.

When applying, please provide as clear a plan of action as possible. This makes it easier for the LIFF team to evaluate your application.

LIFF remains the right to judge every application and refuse accreditations without further explanation.

Applying for LIFF 2026 press accreditations has opened. When registering, we ask you to provide:

  • A link to a recent article, video, or podcast;
  • The media outlet you write for or record for;
  • Your full name and the email address you wish to link to your accreditation;
  • A passport-sized photo that we will print on your press badge.

There is a €35 fee for press accreditation.

If you are specifically interested in writing about a single event, please contact Head of Marketing & Communications Sanne Dolk directly at [email protected].

Industry accreditation

LIFF does not have a separate industry program. Our industry accreditation is therefore designed to provide films with even greater visibility after LIFF. This accreditation is intended for programmers, distributors, and sales agents. If requested, you must provide proof of your active role in the independent film industry, such as previous festival participation or membership in a recognized organization.

LIFF remains the right to judge every application and refuse accreditations without further explanation. Application for 2026 will open soon. Please keep an eye on this page.

Applications for LIFF 2026 industry accredation is now open. When registering, we’ll ask you to:

  • provide your full name and the email address to which you wish to link the accreditation;
  • provide a profile picture which we can print on your press badge;
  • fulfill a one-time payment of €125.
