Description
Immerse yourself in beautiful flowers and exotic plants during this special screening at Leiden’s Hortus Botanicus. After her parents pass away one after the other, British Mary Lennox must leave her lavish life in India and move in with her uncle in Yorkshire. His mansion is in a state of desolation, and Uncle Archibald is grappling with the loss of his wife. Mary discovers a mysterious garden where she, along with her bedridden cousin and a wandering dog, can escape from this bleak scenario.
The Hortus Botanicus organizes a guided tour through the garden and the greenhouses from 19.15h. The film starts at 20.00h.
