Description

Summer vacation is approaching. With no parents in sight, it’s the perfect setting for three sisters, Laura (16), Mira (12), and Steffi (7), to enjoy their youth freely. However, their carefree days are short-lived. When a social worker calls for an appointment, Laura begins a desperate search for someone to pose as their mother. Themes such as sisterhood, freedom, reconciliation, and the challenges of growing up are accompanied by perfect musical support and incredibly talented actors. With these elements, director Gustafson claimed the Best Director Award at Venice Orizzonti.
