With the Current

Description

With the Current is a poetic short film centered on the making of an album recorded aboard a 1951 Dutch sailboat. As singer, composer, and producer Vivienne Aerts moves through the waterways of the Netherlands, the sounds of water, wind, birds, creaking wood, and passing life become part of the music itself. Blending atmosphere, process, and reflection, the film moves beyond a traditional behind-the-scenes portrait. It becomes a meditation on presence, artistic flow, and our relationship with nature, inviting viewers into a world where listening deeply means surrendering to the moment and learning to move with, rather than against, the current. Please note that the rest of this event is in Dutch.
