Description
Hop into the Thunderbird and hit the road with your best friend, alongside Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon in Ridley Scott’s iconic Thelma & Louise (1991). What begins as a carefree weekend getaway turns into a transformative journey through the vast landscapes of the American Southwest. In the spirit of the exhibition Odysseus en de verdronkenen en geredden at the National Museum of Antiquities, we put our own spin on the ancient epic: an odyssey from a female perspective. A compelling road movie about friendship, freedom and breaking free from expectations. Curator Suzan van de Velde will introduce the film.
