Description
Godland director Hlynur Pálmason is back with a tender film about a family that tries to navigate a divorce. Despite the separation between the parents, they continue to lead a family life, which we witness unfold throughout the different seasons. You might expect this film to have a dreary tone, but Pálmason manages to balance the serious themes with sweet and light moments. The film is supported by a nice, dreamy piano score and features absolutely stunning images of the Icelandic landscape.
