Description
Dancer Elena meets sign language interpreter Dovydas and instantly feels a deep connection with him. The focal point of this poetic film is the reconciliation of different expectations when it comes to romantic relationships. The two leads and their convincing chemistry create a tender atmosphere, in which these expectations can be questioned and explored in a fascinating and occasionally humorous manner. A, you may have guessed it, slow and intimate portrait of love, relationships, (a)sexuality, and the ways in which bodies—by means of dance and sign language—are sometimes able to convey those messages that cannot be expressed in words.
