Description
After eight years, South Korean filmmaker Lee Chang-dong (Burning) finally returns. Possible Love brings together two married couples from completely different worlds. Documentary filmmaker Ye-ji is making a film about laid-off workers when she focuses her camera on Ho-seok and his wife Mi-ok. What begins as a professional project soon becomes increasingly personal as the four find themselves drawn further into each other’s lives. Repressed emotions, desires, and tensions gradually rise to the surface. Lee Chang-dong delivers a layered and deeply human drama about love, class, and how we perceive others. Only once on the big screen at LIFF, so make sure you don’t miss it!
