Last year at LIFF, we had the great pleasure of presenting An Evening with Don Hertzfeldt Who Will Not Be There, and what an honor it is to be able to do another showcase of this animation icon’s oeuvre this year! Of course, It’s Such a Beautiful Day cannot be missed on such an evening: the unique, miraculous story about the daily life of a sick man with memory loss. Additionally, we will be presenting the Dutch premiere of Don Hertzfeldt’s latest film: ME – a ‘musical odyssey’ about trauma and alienation.
