Description
In 2004, Shih-Ching Tsou, alongside Sean Baker, wrote and directed the film Take Out. In 2025, she is back with her solo debut film, Left-Handed Girl, with Sean Baker taking on the roles of producer and editor. In bustling Taipei, a mother and her two daughters open a night market stall while confronting family secrets and generational expectations. Left-Handed Girl explores superstition, tradition and resilience through I-Jing’s innocent gaze in a funny, poignant portrait of modern Taiwanese womanhood.
