Description
After a court ruling, malnourished Adam is admitted to the hospital. His mother Rebecca is only allowed limited visitations. Despite the strict rules imposed by the judge, nurse Lucy tries to keep Rebecca and Adam by each other’s side. What follows is an intense night in which Lucy faces difficult moral challenges. For the film, director Laura Wandel immersed herself extensively in a hospital’s pediatric ward, which resonates poignantly throughout the night that Lucy, Rebecca, and Adam experience in this film.
