Description
Jules, a London-based drag queen better known as Aphrodite Banks, stops performing after a disturbing homophobic assault and withdraws into the safety of his own home. When he eventually attempts to pick up his life again, he runs into one of his assailants in a gay sauna. It sounds like the ideal set-up for a revenge plot, but is that really what Jules is looking for? An exhilarating and provoking debut film with two incredible leads: Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (Candyman) and George MacKay (1917).
