Description
After a breakdown, a young, successful flutist returns to his hometown to recuperate. A renewed friendship with a former classmate not only leads to some light in his life, but also to the founding of a “paramilitary noise art collective,” in which they make unique, experimental music together. As you have probably gathered by now, A Light That Never Goes Out is not a biopic about The Smiths. This Finnish debut film is, however, an unmistakable must-see for every music lover and everyone who has ever experienced the profound power of music.
