Description
A body horror retelling of the fairytale Cinderella, from the perspective of the stepsister. Elvira must and shall marry the prince, and she is willing to go to extreme lengths to gain his attention. With this debut film, Norwegian director Emilie Blichfeldt creates a clever but brutal commentary on beauty and societal standards. With a beautiful setting in the 19th century, this film can be appreciated by fans of stunning period dramas as well as fans of gory body horror.
