Description
What if your Iranian uncle suddenly shows up at your door after years of absence? Akam, a young teacher in Oslo, hesitantly invites his uncle to stay with him and his roommates for a few days. Days slowly turn into weeks, but uncle Jens is not leaving. Additionally, a whole series of surprising events awaits him and Akam. My Uncle Jens by director Brwa Vahabpour juxtaposes funny situations with serious moments in a poignant story about family, personal boundaries, and immigration.
