Description
Belén is set in conservative Tucumán, Argentina. After her miscarriage requires emergency surgery, Julieta is falsely accused of infanticide. While she is in prison, lawyer Soledad decides to defend her case. As Soledad takes on a deeply-rooted corrupt system in court, Julieta receives support from a growing women’s rights movement which gains national attention. A strong Argentine drama, which tells a true story that sparked worldwide attention.
