When You Open the Door en

Be prepared to go on a surrealist ride! Psychedelic elements and a strong musical score set the tone for Japanese When You Open the Door, Eriko Katagiri’s debut. When 27-year-old architect Miki is mysteriously bitten by a wolf, it causes strange physical and psychological changes. As others doubt her experience, she is lured into the woods by mysterious memories, where an ancient women’s ritual helps her confront her hidden identity and embrace transformation.
