Description
In Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park (1993), dinosaurs are brought back to life through groundbreaking genetic science. What begins as a spectacular theme park soon turns into a fight for survival.
Seasoned cinephiles will already know the film well, but the chance to see Jurassic Park at Naturalis is truly exceptional. Afterwards, Yasmin Grooters, dinosaur preparator at Naturalis, takes you beyond the Hollywood action in a Q&A: from feathered dinosaurs and the devastating bite force of a T-Rex to the real work of fossil excavation. Discover how dinosaur research can teach us a surprising amount about today’s climate and nature. So be sure to stay after the film, ask all your questions, and discover that even an everyday chicken drumstick contains a trace of dinosaur evolution.
