Description
After Daniel is expelled from school, he has to join his Lebanese mom Layal on a trip to the other side of the country to visit his dad. It surely won’t be a smooth ride, however with special encounters, heartfelt moments and the right amount of humor, the mother-son duo knows to make it a memorable one. An American road trip indie through and through with an Arab-American perspective that adds layers to themes of healing and belonging.
Director Ramzi Bashour will be present for a Q&A after the screenings on October 16 and 17.
