If you have taken a good look everywhere, you can always send an email to info@fliff.nl. We will then check whether the order is in the ticket system and can send the tickets again. Some emails can be delayed up to a day.

Cineville reservations expire 15 minutes before the start of each film. Therefore, it can happen that film tickets sometimes become available last minute. These last minute tickets can be bought 15 minutes before the start of the film (only by card) at the quick ticket office at the screening location. This way, you might still be able to see that sold-out movie last minute!

At Trianon there is a separate line for this last minute ticket office. However, there is no separate line in the Kijkhuis and LIDO. Therefore we ask you to pay close attention to the instructions from our volunteers if you would like to obtain a ticket for a sold-out screening.

Note: We cannot guarantee that tickets will be released.

Accessibility

Wheelchair accessibility differs per location.

Trianon
Trianon 1 has wheelchair spaces. The entrance of the hall is slightly sloping, so it is recommended to bring somebody with you. The building has a wheelchairfriendly toilet. Large mobility scooters only fit in Room 1 of Trianon.

Kijkhuis
Room 1 is accessible with a wheelchair in the Kijkhuis. To be able to enter the building, a ramp will be laid out. The toilets in the Kijkhuis are not wheelchairfriendly.

You can easily reach Leiden by train. From the central station, it is about a ten minute walk to the various festival locations, or a few minutes by bus. Do you prefer to come by car? In that case, you can park your car in one of the municipal parking locations, which are also close to the festival locations.

Catering partners

For years, they have been helping to make our film festival into a success. And now it's our turn to do something in return! The consequences of the coronavirus affect all of us, but local businesses like cafés and restaurants in Leiden are being hit especially hard. However, in times like these, different initiatives and actions arise to help each other to get through this time. Several of our partners have also started such initiatives. We are very happy with that.

Would you like to support LIFF's local partners too? On this page, you can find several actions and initiatives through which you can support our partners.

Grabbing a bite to eat before your film, or having a drink afterwards - go to LIFF's local partners! Go to this page for a selection of the best restaurants and cafés in Leiden.

Safe visit to the cinema

In all cinemas the bar is open until 00:00 and there is no need to socially distance after having shown a valid QR code with the Corona Check app. Moreover, you can have a chat while enjoying a snack at one of our catering partners!

Some films run until after 00:00, so unfortunately you can not get a drink afterwards.

Buy your tickets online as much as possible, pay by card at the registers and follow all the instructions in the movie theater. Due to the introduction of the Corona Check app, it is no longer necessary to socially distance in cinemas. Therefore, to enter the cinemas, always carry identification with you and install the Corona Check app on your smartphone with proof of vaccination, a negative PCR test, a negative antigen test of testenvoortoegang.org or proof of recovery. Disinfect your hands whenever that's possible and do not come if you have health issues.

Some films run after 00:00, but unfortunately the bar in all cinemas has to close by then.
