A widowed father and his three daughters live between the mountains in the countryside of northern Turkey. He does everything to give them a better life. The three sisters are each sent separately to rich families as foster children and as maids. All three of them return for various reasons. Trapped within this beautiful landscape, the father wonders what else he can do for them. A Tale of Three Sisters was selected for the Golden Bear at the 69th International Film Festival in Berlin.
